TCD Company is a contemporary ballet company. Dancers chosen to be a part of the Company will be considered to be in performances throughout the year at the Artistic Director's discretion. This includes but is not limited to dancing in fundraisers, benefits, and publicity events for TCD. Company members will be expected to learn pieces that are to be added in TCD's repertoire which can be called upon when a performance opportunity comes up. Company classes in both ballet and contemporary will also be offered throughout the year by our Artistic Director and guest teachers. Additionally, faces of the company will be added to our website. This opportunity will give dancers more dancing and performance experience and, moreover, a chance to be a part of a pre-professional dance company. Members will be chosen at the Nutcracker audition. If you check on your audition form that you would like to be considered for the company, we are allotting the last 15 minutes of your audition period to be a contemporary evaluation. We are excited about the addition of the Company to TCD and hope you will consider dancing with us throughout the year!
